So much is happening here at Will It Waffle World Headquarters. OK, it's just me at a desk in a corner of my living room. But so much is happening.

The Kindle version of "Will It Waffle?" is on sale for $1.99 for all of March as part of Amazon's Kindle Monthly deals. It's the kind of price that makes you think, "Sure, I have a copy of 'Will It Waffle?' but do I have enough copies?" Ahem. In all seriousness, you, because you are reading this blog, probably already have a copy of "Will It Waffle?" Thank you for that. That's really great. But this news would be good to share with people who do not have a copy. Doesn't everyone deserve to know about the power of the waffle iron? Yes. Yes, they do.

Also, I'm writing to share big book news. Two items really, so ... two big newses? Anyway, I have two books coming out this year:

"Will It Skillet?" is out very soon — in April. It's the successor to "Will It Waffle?" and a testament to my longstanding love affair with cast iron. I'll have a lot more to say and show you about this book soon. Hang tight. If there's one thing I reach for consistently beyond my waffle iron(s), it's my skillet(s). Uh. And now my Instant Pot.... which brings me to...
"How to Instant Pot" is out in October. Have you heard about the Instant Pot? It combines 7 functions in one appliance — pressure cooker, slow cooker, steamer, rice-maker and more — but it can be a little bit intimidating. I've heard from many people who have one and have left it in the box because they're not quite sure what to do with it. This book is aimed at turning the machine's learning curve into a gentle, pleasant slope. And while you discover how to use the machine, you get to eat. Not a bad deal, no?
